When you leave our office, you are free to resume all normal activities, but you need to refrain from strenuous activity or lengthy exposure to the sun for a period of 7 days to let the treated areas recover. You should avoid sun exposure 7 days prior to treatment as we cannot use a laser on sensitized or sunburned skin. At home after your session, we recommend soothing creams or cold packs to alleviate any discomfort. A series of treatments is recommended as the laser can only destroy hair in a particular stage of growth, so not all hair follicles will be able to be treated in one session.
